1. Plug the power cord into an AC outlet and adjust the timer according to thickness of the material to be sealed. Use a high-number for thicker material.
2. Important! In order to enhance the quality of the sealing, perform the resistance pre-heating. Press the sealer arm twice simulating the sealing without a package. This procedure may be performed only once before starting the sealing procedure itself but it should be repeated every time the equipment goes idle for longer than 1 minute.
3. Place the envelope on the sealing platform always with the paper side down (directly on the resistance) and the plastic side up and press the sealer arm down firmly. The heating time is controlled automatically after manual adjustment.
4. When the red LED goes off the sealing will be completed. Slide the blade to cut the envelope, raise the sealer arm and remove the package.
a) In order to make the sealing better, wait for 1 or 2 seconds to release the sealer arm after the red LED goes off.
b) If the heating time is too long or insufficient the sealing might be inefficient (the envelope may be stuck to the sealing area when it is pulled or be visibly badly-sealed).
c) To correct this, adjust the timer properly.
d) Once adjusted it is not necessary to perform any other adjustment to continue sealing.
